The American composer, musician and producer Mike Murray is active in smooth jazz and chill-out. During summer camps in his youth he discovered his passion for the piano, which would later lead to a lifelong passion.

However, he first played in a local funk band, where he evolved into a drummer. Mike was influenced by George Duke, Stanley Clarke, FourPlay, Santana, Hiroshima, Paul Hardcastle, Alex Bugnon, Earth Wind & Fire, Sly Stone, Mandrill etc. In 2005 he returned to the piano through a legacy from his father, and 2 years later his album ‘Skyline’ was released.

In May this year he released the single ‘Supernova’, a precursor to this new EP, with a space-inspired NuJazz/Electronic fusion, nice and chilled for maximum speed. There are 5 tracks on this EP in Mike’s hybrid, instrumental music form of smooth jazz & chill-out. It’s your passport to the stars.
