Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin are two legendary musicians who have collaborated on many successful projects throughout their careers. Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin’s latest collaboration is an album titled “Brasil”. This album is a celebration of their shared love of Brazilian music, and features a collection of new compositions inspired by the genre. They also collaborate with some of Brazil’s finest young musicians, showcasing the fresh sounds of contemporary Brazilian music. This isn’t their first foray into Brazilian music. Their 1986 collaboration “Harlequin,” which featured Brazilian musicians and tunes, won a Grammy award. “Brasil” picks up where “Harlequin” left off, and is sure to be a treat for fans of Brazilian jazz fusion.
