Peet Project – Sweet Lemon
Peet Project are violinist, composer, producer Peter “Peet” Ferencz, saxophonist Attila Závodi, keyboardist Olivér Magán, bassist Martin Gudics, and drummer Marcell Gudics. Their albums are Pink Spirit (2010), Turn You On (2011), Overseas (2013), Love (2015), The Bad Boys Of Budapest (2017) and Ups & Down (2020).
Their newest project is the album Sweet Lemon (2022). Guest musicians on the new album are Michael Thompson (guitar), Atus Zombori (guitar) and Feng Ya Ou (backing vocals). All songs are written by the group.
The album opens with the title song a fresh revelation of energetic smooth jazz with Peet’s violin as a special distinguishing feature. Donut Jam harkens back to the funky days with an upbeat fiddle that has made the leap into the modern era.
