Tim Watson – Pure Energy

Tim’s 2002 breakout work “Soultopia – The Tim Watson Project” introduced the Chicago Native to the Contemporary Jazz genre and was a catalyst for his 2007 Smooth Jazz follow-up “Sunday Afternoon.” Both projects have garnered the talented artist a modest presence within the genre.

Pure Energy is the follow up to Tim’s previous work “Up & At’em” that showcased his addictive writing style on the lead single ‘When Marie Smiles’ which peaked at an impressive number 19 on the Smooth Jazz Billboards. 2020 is already proving to be another break out year for the talented writer and keyboardist, as Tim’s 1st single ‘Life of the Party’ from the new CD ‘Pure Energy‘ is set to enter the Smooth Jazz airwaves February 17, 2020.

Tim kicks things off with the opening track ‘Life of The Party’ which host saxophonist ‘Marcus Anderson’ and is a high powered, funk infused energetic ride! A slick and sophisticated offering, ‘All I Wanna Do’ host saxophonist Jeanette Harris and California based vocalist Brit Frappier. Next up is the explosive title track ‘Pure Energy’ hosting saxophonist Martin Blockston. An equally suited all star cast of musical treats nicely round up this 10 track listening experience. Pure Energy is the perfect remedy for a long awaited follow up to Tim’s previous Smooth Jazz heavy hitting project ‘Up & At.’em. The wait is over; ‘Pure Energy’ is here!!!

Available as CD on Tim’s website.
