Lee Jones – Watercolors

Lee Jones self produced this entire album. His style of smooth jazz is groovy yet soothing. Lee plays alto saxophone on the majority of the album with some harmonies by the flute. “9 to 5” is an upbeat groovy tune followed by “Sunset,” a smooth jazz relaxing song to put in you in a calming mood. “Chelsea’s loft” is followed by “Watercolors,” the albums title track. It’s a ballad with Latin percussion and unforgettable melody. “Champagne Life” is an upbeat song for those all about celebrating. The rest of the songs on the 9 song album are treat.
