Rodney E. Foster Sr. – Coney Island

Rodney E. Foster, Sr. is a veteran in the music business. He has covered a broad range of roles that include artist, writer, producer, manager, recording and mastering engineer. “As a sound engineer, I am always looking for new techniques to improve the quality of my songs so I challenged myself to create three albums with the goal that each would be better than the last.” – Rodney Foster
Coney Island is his newest release on the Nikitu juan Music Co. label. Along with drum programming and string arrangements, Rodney plays the keyboards, piano and guitar. He incorporates elements of jazz, funk and rhythm & blues. It is very positive, upbeat and hope-filled music. His tracks pulsate with drum rhythms and a bright, melodic piano that will appeal to the traditional lovers of smooth jazz.

Rodney comments: “I took my time putting together some Good music for this project. And name it Coney Island because it’s full of Excitement and fun and games.”

Oytun Ersan – Fusiolicious

Nicosia based Turkish-Cypriot Oytun Ersan has made a name as internationally acclaimed bassist, composer, recording artist and a member of the Recording Academy.

Ersan is also since more than 20 years member of the International Nicosia Municipality Orchestra first as saxophonist and later as bassist. He started his solo career with the album East Meets West (2015). Fusiolicious (2018) is his sophomore album in the jazz fusion genre.

Oytun Ersan assembled a great team of professional musicians to create a high-class jazz fusion album of international standing. Beside Oytun Ersan (composer, bass) are performing Dave Weckl (drums), Eric Marienthal (saxophone), Gary Husband and Gerry Etkins (keys), Dean Brown, Mike Miller, Brett Garsed and Okan Ersan (guitars), Karen Briggs (violin), Gökay Gökşen (trombone), Utku Akyol (trumpet), Aytunç Akdoğu and Simge Akdoğu (vocals).
