Marquel Jordan – Intention and Purpose

Saxophonist Extraordinaire Marquel Jordan releases his sophmore CD entitled Intention and Purpose. This is a must have in your collection. After spending 8 years with Brian Culbertson, Marquel has branched out to bring his unique and innovative style to the forefront.

Marquel comments: “In October 2013, I released my solo debut album, Catalyst. It was a well-received introduction to the Contemporary/Smooth Jazz genre and it showed fans that I was more than a sideman in a great touring band. In the following years I promoted and performed in support of my album while simultaneously touring with Culbertson. Over time, I realized that in order to have the success I desired, I needed to focus solely on my recording career, improve my artistry and build my brand. Consequently, I made plans to do that. I began recording tracks for Intention & Purpose in early 2018 and left Culbertson’s band after the culmination of the Colors Of Love tour.”
