Jay Nya Sol – Dancing In The Moonlight

Dancing in the MoonlightJay-Nya Sol or Jay Nya Sol is a project by Ohio based producer, songwriter and multiinstrumentalist T. Burns. He started his solo debut CD A Jazzical Journey in 2010.

Now he returns with the new album Dancing in the Moonlight (2016) featuring among others Gerald Albright (bass, sax) and Cal Bennett (sax), Anthony Crawford, Takahito Mori, Freddy Jenkins, Matt Yeakley, and Sheldon Reynolds (guitar), Keith McKelly (keyboards, sax), Isha Love (keyboards, piano), Vanessa Bryan (vocals), Rahmlee Michael Davis (trumpet) and of course T. Burns (percussion, vocals, keyboards).

The album takes off with Midnight, a sonic tune with a romantic touch. Infectious flute and acoustic guitar are spreading a cozy atmosphere of wellbeing. No Ordinary Love, is a song by singer Sade from their fourth studio album Love Deluxe (1992). The rendition replaces the silky original by a guitar driven piece with melancholy-tinged thoughtfulness featuring Vanessa Bryan as interpret of the main theme.
