Cory Henry – Revival

The RevivalSongwriter, producer and organist Cory Henry has been wowing audiences with his virtuosic playing since the tender age of two. With influences by everyone from Oscar Peterson to Billy Preston and his playing with stars from Bruce Springsteen to Yolanda Adams, Revival returns Cory to his upbringing and roots in American gospel and soul, with covers of classics by Stevie Wonder, Bobby McFerrin, John Coltrane, Mom Winans, Ben Harper, and more. Corys harmonically rich Hammond organ playing has been a highlight of recordings and performances with the Grammy-winning band Snarky Puppy, who hes worked with for over 10 years.

Peter Boehi comments:”Wow, the new Cory Henry live album called “The Revival” is the bomb! Mostly playing solo on the Hammond B3, on a few tracks with a sparse rhythm section, Cory makes his instrument sing and delivers some truly strong musical statements. His rendition of “All In Love Is Fair” is mind-boggling!”

The DVD highlights a full concert of Revival, with devastating solos by Cory. Get the album at
