Jamhunters – Colortones

ColortonesThey are coming from Denmark, Jamhunters are Lars Fabiansen (guitar) and Peter Michael (keyboards). Smooth Jazz is their main style and they are professionals in serving the perfect groove. Their debut album Jamhunters (2006) was soon followed by their sophomore album Music Speaks Louder Than Words (2008). Their third project was Driftin’ (2011). With Colortones (2015) they offer a new masterpiece just before the old year ends. The 4th album contains 12 brand new compositions – all composed by guitarist Lars Fabiansen and keyboard player Peter Michael.

As their previous albums the two musicians have recorded and produced all tracks with help from their supporting and solid musicians (vocalist Christina Boelskifte, drummer Klaus Menzer, percussionist Claus Suhr, bassist André Sørensen). The album has the well known sound with the Jamhunters spirit and the chill out ambiance. The guitar in front as the melody instrument – vocal hooklines – a great mix of pop, jazz, soul and Latin. The album contains two songs composed by the singer Christina Boelskifte Let Me Feel Your Love and The Woman Walking By The Sea, where the inspiration arose at the Jamhunters tour at Zanzibar 2013. As something new Lars plays the Spanish guitar on two Latin inspired tracks Color Control and Out Of The Blue. Peter is graping the talk-box on Fly Me To Heaven and Something Out There.

Nice tones for your ears now at CDBaby.
