Adamsjazz – Smooth Jazz Party

adamsjazz4Starting With Jason Browns Joyful tribute to his late father he and childhood friend Lionel Cole celebrate a Feeling. Anthony Wilson’s weeping guitars on Heidi’s version of What can I Say or Do let you know you are in for a serious Party. Richard Patterson and Steve Cole playing all the notes you want and some you can’t believe take the stage next with Pop Sonata.

Lionel Cole our main songwriter is next with music from a trip to New Orleans to hang with Brady Blade , Mark Bingham and the Dirty South Band bring some southern fried soul yeah Give it To Me. How about the funky New York Flava of Kalif Babatoon on Soundcheck in ya ear. The Diamond on this Album is Teena Marie(may she rest in peace) smashing this vocal trio of Kalif and Lionel on the haunting and moving Long Ago…a wonderful tribute to this soul Icon.

I Like it and Gumbo both feature one of the baddest groups ever Todd Sucherman on drums, Del Atkins on bass, and Gerry Johnson on guitar supporting Louis Van Taylor’s blazing Saxyness. We end moving off into Jazz Dubstep Electronica with Lionel’s Spacestep one more small step towards musical Nirvana. Enjoy 🙂
