Dave Murrant – It’s About Time Jumblehead

This is my first album and it explores many different moods from the funky in your face Mr. Miller’s House to the sublime Broken. This has very much been a passion project that developed over four years and was driven by the need to write fun, emotional music that would hopefully connect to many listeners.

As a Bass player I was looking for opportunities to showcase my instrument while writing songs that could stand on their own merits. This was a four year project in the making that involved many great musicians from the US and UK. When starting the project I was fortunate to know some amazing musicians and they contributed both as players and writers. For each song I looked for the best musician, with the best feel for the song and they consistently delivered.

The album has two vocal songs “Won’t the wind change” and “Goodbye Kiss”. One old and one new, both sung beautifully by Abigail Zsiga. I have been fortunate to know Abigail for many years and know she is a rare soul. An eclectic mix of jazz instrumentals and fresh, emotional tunes. Songs that have strong melodies and fat funk grooves that are deep in the pocket. A Bass guitar driven album that features Abigail Zsiga, Jeff Lewinsky, John Rekevics and Allan Phillip now available at CDBaby.
