Angel W Diaz – Quarter Century

Cuban born, Angel Diaz migrated to New York City in the late 60s where he continued his childhood dream of becoming a Musician. His musical training and education started in church, where he attended St Josephs School of Performing Arts, performing on several of Broadway shows with The William Patterson College Orchestra, including Man of La Mancha, God Spell, The Me No Body Knows. There he was awarded best drummer at the age of 14. He continued his training with several private instructors, including Kenwood Dennard, Lenny White, Steve Gadd, and at Drummers Collectives in NYC.

Angel’s dedication to the arts earned him the privilege to perform with artist such as, BB King, Luther Vandross, Chuck Barry, CC Huston, Clive Davis, Whitney Huston, The Shirelles, Bill Cosby, Celia Cruz, Ismael Miranda, The Merv Griffin Show, Musical director for Donald Trump’s Casinos and Hotels resorts, and a multitude of various studio performances, including TV commercials, and radio shows.

Quarter Century  is a very unique album with various different genres, such as Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Latin Jazz, R&B, Pop, Inspirational New Age, Flamenco, Funk, Blues and Calypso. Taste it at CDBaby.
