Klay D-C – Ritmo

A member of Roy Ayers’ Ubiquity from 1999 – 2004, Klay Dumas-Copas has been composing since he was 16 years old. His band The Jazz Steppers won the Best Jazz Act MOBO in 1998. He released the solo album On Reflection through indy UK label Timewarp in 2000. In 2001 he was asked by Sony Jazz UK to put together a band for Guitarist Martin Taylor’s UK tour to promote Martin’s new album Nitelife produced by Kirk Whalum.

Ritmo is his second solo release presenting dynamic, lyrical latin jazz fusion from the creator of the MOBO winning Jazz Steppers. Your choice at CDBaby.
