Phil Romeo – Guitarcity

Born and raised in South Philly, guitarist Phil Romeo has been playing in and around the Philadelphia area for over twenty five years. Phil received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Education from Temple University. He studied guitar, piano and jazz improvisation. Some of Phil’s teachers included classical guitarist Peter Segal, jazz saxophonist Michael Pedicin Jr. and Philly’s legendary guitarist Joe Sgro.

Phil will perform for your special occasion with his band Guitarcity or with his solo performance package of classical, pop, smooth jazz, blues, latin, soft rock and original music will add just the right touch to your affair. For nearly twenty years, Phil has worked as a music teacher in the Philadelphia public school system. Currently he teaches at Bryant School and works with students from kindergarten thru the eighth grade. Phil also teaches guitar and piano at his home studio.
