Vision Jazz was formed by drummer/percussionist Burt Shur in 2007, and he partnered with keyboardist/composer Chuck Leichner shortly thereafter. a power house four piece band with all veterans who have been in the music business for over 25 years each. Joseph Vincelli‘s signature is his passion towards his music. It is evident on the stage, in his recordings, with his speeches and in his books. What sets him apart from other smooth jazz artists is his ability to create music from an array of sources which many others would consider stretching the limits.
During his time in New York Jon Grindstaff, the creator of the project Galaxy Lounge, performed on gigs around the city. As bass player he jammed in diverse bands, while his day job was writing for commercials. Since more than twenty years, he worked as a composer and arranger in New York, creating music for television and radio commercials.

A native of Chicago, Illinois. Michael Ross was encouraged at an early age to take private guitar lessons at the Chicago School of Music. While advancing his studies in music, Michael has played some of Chicago’s local jazz clubs. His first big break was becoming a staff guitarist for the New York Broadway National Touring Company’s production of “The Wiz,” that toured across the country.
Nashville studio musicians know Sam Levine as one of the busiest woodwind players in town. In one day he might play saxophone for a country artist, flute or penny whistle for a gospel artist and clarinet in a traditional jazz band. His playing has given color and expression to a wide variety of artists’ tracks, including Amy Grant, the Neville Brothers, Vince Gill and Michael McDonald. He is known for his reliable ensemble skills and his melodic, expressive solos.

The Rumba Foundation brings Cook on a journey across time, space and sound. In the 1800s sailors travelled to Spain carrying a hot new rhythm from Cuba: Rumba. Gypsies took this dance rhythm and created their own hybrid: “Rumba Flamenco.” 150 years later, Jesse makes it a round trip by bringing Rumba Flamenco back to its roots, but modernized in what might be his strongest work yet.
